A Gourmet Chocolate Giveaway! (Closed)
It’s no secret that I have a bit of a sweet tooth, which more often than not involves chocolate. Yesterday, I got distracted by the fancy chocolate bar aisle in one of my favorite specialty markets, and while pondering the options on display, I decided I should absolutely share some of my chocolate obsession with one of you lovely readers… Because, I like you. A lot.
And this is a small, small way to say thank you, for reading, cooking with me, and allowing this little space on the internet to exist. Also, fancy chocolate makes a pretty great stocking stuffer, amiright?
SO, I picked out a collection of gourmet chocolate bars in a variety of flavors. The giveaway includes thirteen chocolate bars, in no particular order:
Pike Place Espresso dark chocolate truffle bar
Oh my S’mores! milk chocolate
Hazelnut crunch milk chocolate
Emerald City Mint milk chocolate truffle
Congo coffee & cream milk chocolate
Pure 70% dark chocolate
Milk chocolate ginger chai
Peace, love & peppermint dark chocolate
Dark chocolate cherry
Peppermint stick dark chocolate
Ginger dark chocolate
Sea salt dark chocolate
and MAPLE BACON.
Yes, maple bacon chocolate.
I’ll wrap them up and send a package off to one lucky winner, which should (hopefully) arrive in time for Christmas!
To enter, just tell me your all-time favorite type of chocolate in the comments below!
The details: Chocolate giveaway open to U.S. residents (or with a U.S. mailing address). Giveaway ends Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 11:59 PST. One winner will be chosen at random and announced on this post, as well as notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, another winner will be selected.
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Emily (who loves dark chocolate covered pretzels)! Thank you so much to EVERYONE who entered. I absolutely loved hearing all about your favorite chocolates, and can’t wait to try a few new brands! The winner will be contacted shortly via email.
Sponsored by me! (Fork Knife Swoon)
It may not be very fancy, but my favorite chocolates are the chocolate “oranges” that you WHACK on a table and the chocolate splits into “slices”. I’ve gotten them every year for Christmas since I was a kid, and they hold such special memories in their delicious chocolate-y selves!
I love DARK CHOCOLATE! And I will confess I’m obsessed with Spanish cocoa chocolate covered almonds! I have never had chocolate with bacon sounds like I need to try it.
Chocolate almond bar is our fav! It’s nice to see my husband sneaking in fridge to grab a piece…nice change of pace since it’s always me. Merry Christmas! Keep the great recipes coming.
See’s turtles! Love carmel & chocolate!!
All chocolate is delicious, but if I could only eat one it would probably be something with chocolate and toffee!
Sea salt caramels covered with dark chocolate….yum!
dark chocolate with sea salt and nuts!
Chocolate flavored Chocolate of course! That means any kind ; )
A dark chocolate/caramel/sea salt combo. So delicious!
Chuao firecracker!
dark chocolate with sea salt
Dark chocolate with caramel and a grain or two of salt.
Love chocolate toffee with any type of nuts! Yum
A long time ago, a friend from “across the pond” sent me some dark chocolate with chilies in it. For a while there, I made some of the best chili you could eat! My neighbors still request it…but I can’t find it (or even remember the brand) and my friend is long since gone.
I have incredibly fond memories of Ritter Sport bars when we lived in Germany many years ago. I had never tasted anything so good as the marzipan one. It’s still pretty good although I’ve had a few years since then to broaden my taste bud horizons!
Ghirardelli chocolate sunday at the Ghirardelli shops 🙂
I love your recipes!! Favorite chocolate would have to be dark chocolate with hazlenuts
I’ll never forget going to Pike Place and sampling chocolate covered (all kinds of chocolate) covered cherries. Yum! I’m now drooling on my keyboard. Guess if I had to pick one favorite, I’d say Dark.
My absolute favourite chocolate is the inspiring Ghirardelli intense dark with sea salt squares. Eating one of these transports me from drab reality to a landscape of sheer indulgence. Mmmmmmmm. I can taste it now!
Any type of dark chocolate – especially with sea salt and caramel.
I love any chocolate I can share with my sons who have a sweet tooth too.
Wow, yum! I love Theo Chocolate! I had the opportunity to tour their factory when I was visiting in Seattle… love their stuff!
