A Gourmet Chocolate Giveaway! (Closed)
It’s no secret that I have a bit of a sweet tooth, which more often than not involves chocolate. Yesterday, I got distracted by the fancy chocolate bar aisle in one of my favorite specialty markets, and while pondering the options on display, I decided I should absolutely share some of my chocolate obsession with one of you lovely readers… Because, I like you. A lot.
And this is a small, small way to say thank you, for reading, cooking with me, and allowing this little space on the internet to exist. Also, fancy chocolate makes a pretty great stocking stuffer, amiright?
SO, I picked out a collection of gourmet chocolate bars in a variety of flavors. The giveaway includes thirteen chocolate bars, in no particular order:
Pike Place Espresso dark chocolate truffle bar
Oh my S’mores! milk chocolate
Hazelnut crunch milk chocolate
Emerald City Mint milk chocolate truffle
Congo coffee & cream milk chocolate
Pure 70% dark chocolate
Milk chocolate ginger chai
Peace, love & peppermint dark chocolate
Dark chocolate cherry
Peppermint stick dark chocolate
Ginger dark chocolate
Sea salt dark chocolate
and MAPLE BACON.
Yes, maple bacon chocolate.
I’ll wrap them up and send a package off to one lucky winner, which should (hopefully) arrive in time for Christmas!
To enter, just tell me your all-time favorite type of chocolate in the comments below!
The details: Chocolate giveaway open to U.S. residents (or with a U.S. mailing address). Giveaway ends Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 11:59 PST. One winner will be chosen at random and announced on this post, as well as notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, another winner will be selected.
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Emily (who loves dark chocolate covered pretzels)! Thank you so much to EVERYONE who entered. I absolutely loved hearing all about your favorite chocolates, and can’t wait to try a few new brands! The winner will be contacted shortly via email.

Dark chocolate with almonds
Toured Theo’s chocolate Factory a few years ago where I first tasted chocolate nibs….a memorable experience!
Green & Black makes a really good milk chocolate with peanuts and sea salt. Yum! But generally I go for dark chocolate with peppermint – it’s great for any season!
I love dark chocolate.
I love any chocolate with sea salt!
I’ve learned to like white chocolate, even though I know it’s not really, you know, chocolate. My wife gets migraine headaches. I made the almond bark from your recipe using white chocolate and it was great! Thanks.
I LOVE dark chocolate. It’s my late afternoon treat!
I love white chocolate in any way, shape or form. I know it’s not “real” chocolate. Regardless it’s delicious!
I love dark chocolate with any kind of nuts. Also, I’ll admit, I can’t resist crisped rice in a chocolate bar. Thanks for the giveaway!
Salted Caramels! Oh, and anything with a fruity cream inside…oh wait, marshmallows are good too. Oh, but don’t forget about chocolate mint! I love it all – would never turn my nose up at any chocolate!! I prefer dark chocolate…but Milk and white work too!
How Fun! I love dark chocolate with sea salt. Throw in a few nuts and caramel and I’m a happy girl.
Dark chocolate truffles!
Dark chocolate of any kind, but especially when it’s coating burnt toffee or mixed into a mocha.
I truly love all chocolate, but I think milk chocolate might be my favorite. I wonderful sweet giveaway. Thanks for the chance to enter.
Dark-dark chocolate. Delicious!
I love so many but an all time favorite is the See’s candies almond buds.
Seely Peppermint Patties- Dark Chocolate made with fair trade chocolate and organic agave from a small Oregon mint farm. Very addicting if you like dark chocolate and mint.
These truffles that I had from a small store, in a small alley in Paris. I have no recollection of the name. The chocolates looked so beautiful had to go in and try.
Hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows.
Chocolate Mousse at a restaurant in Berkeley, long since gone; currently very dark chocolate, about 70 %
