A Gourmet Chocolate Giveaway! (Closed)
It’s no secret that I have a bit of a sweet tooth, which more often than not involves chocolate. Yesterday, I got distracted by the fancy chocolate bar aisle in one of my favorite specialty markets, and while pondering the options on display, I decided I should absolutely share some of my chocolate obsession with one of you lovely readers… Because, I like you. A lot.
And this is a small, small way to say thank you, for reading, cooking with me, and allowing this little space on the internet to exist. Also, fancy chocolate makes a pretty great stocking stuffer, amiright?
SO, I picked out a collection of gourmet chocolate bars in a variety of flavors. The giveaway includes thirteen chocolate bars, in no particular order:
Pike Place Espresso dark chocolate truffle bar
Oh my S’mores! milk chocolate
Hazelnut crunch milk chocolate
Emerald City Mint milk chocolate truffle
Congo coffee & cream milk chocolate
Pure 70% dark chocolate
Milk chocolate ginger chai
Peace, love & peppermint dark chocolate
Dark chocolate cherry
Peppermint stick dark chocolate
Ginger dark chocolate
Sea salt dark chocolate
and MAPLE BACON.
Yes, maple bacon chocolate.
I’ll wrap them up and send a package off to one lucky winner, which should (hopefully) arrive in time for Christmas!
To enter, just tell me your all-time favorite type of chocolate in the comments below!
The details: Chocolate giveaway open to U.S. residents (or with a U.S. mailing address). Giveaway ends Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 11:59 PST. One winner will be chosen at random and announced on this post, as well as notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, another winner will be selected.
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Emily (who loves dark chocolate covered pretzels)! Thank you so much to EVERYONE who entered. I absolutely loved hearing all about your favorite chocolates, and can’t wait to try a few new brands! The winner will be contacted shortly via email.

Fruit and Nut Cadbury bar
My favorite is the Lindt Dark Chocolate bar with Sea Salt
Any dark chocolate with marshmallow – I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and supper! so gooey and rich! The s’mores bar you picked up made my heart go pitter pat! 🙂
My all time favorite chocolate would be dark chocolate chips, easy to grab a handful of them and mix with dried fruit and nuts.
I really enjoy chocolate with caramel of any kind.
I love 70% cocoa dark chocolate bars, and good old Hershey bars with almonds. Thanks for sharing the goodies with us!!
I love all the kinds you chose, but one of my favorites is Goldentree chocolate found only in Ghana. I ate it when I visited there my junior year in college and ended up writing an 80 page thesis about it. Their orange flavored chocolate is my favorite!
Dark chocolate with orange is a classic and is my go-to. That said, one of these could easily take its place 😀
I don’t think I could pick just one type of chocolate to be my favorite…but I do love chocolate with hazelnut, sea salt, MARZIPAN, or mint!
Milk Chocolate Truffle Bar with Sea Salt and Toffee!
My all-time favorite chocolate would have to be dark chocolate with cardamom — magnifique!
It’s so hard to say what my favorite is! I will go with dark chocolate, but the truth is that I’ve never encountered a chocolate I didn’t like 🙂
hershey’s used to make a chocolate with little bits of minty cookies in it. they don’t make it anymore, and it is a travesty! way better than the cookies and cream version they still make.
When I was in Italy last spring, I picked up a delicious creamy hazelnut chocolate bar that will never be replaced in my mind. That chocolate sure does look yummy, though!
Very dark chocolate, with nibs or nuts!
I love 70% cocoa dark chocolate bars. Or a Hershey’s Bar with almonds (to go back to my childhood!). Many thanks for sharing these yummy goodies with us!
Half bittersweet and half semisweet with almonds coated in dark cocoa, cinnamon, cayenne and olive oil with sea salt.
Marzipan rittersport chocolate bar!
Dark chocolate covered pretzels!!
Oh man, any kind of dark chocolate and I’m in!
